One Man Band

Pretty Impressive!

Big Brother Mars Edition

It's a question I've often contemplated, given the option, if you could go to Space, but never come back, would you go?? I've put a lot of thought into it, the beauty of the universe intrigues me so much, my imagination has always ran wild about witnessing the earth rise, all the things I'd see and the emotions I would feel if I ever got the chance. But can you imagine coming from a far distant planet, landing on earth and witnessing all mother nature has to offer, our sun rise and sunsets, there's really enough that should keep us in awe for our entire lifespans, and so I've been doing my best to appreciate all the beauty that people tend to take for granted that we are lucky enough to have in our backyard on this tiny little pale blue dot we call home....

A Dutch company aims to land humans on Mars by 2023 as the first step toward establishing a permanent colony on the Red Planet.

The project, called Mars One, plans to drop four astronauts on Mars in April 2023. New members of the nascent colony will arrive every two years after that, and none of the Red Planet pioneers will ever return to Earth.

To fund this, Mars One says it will stage a media spectacle, an inter-planetary reality TV show, bounced straight into our living rooms.

"This project seems to be the only way to fulfill humanity's dream to explore outer space. It is going to be an exciting experiment. Let's get started......"
